Digital Post-production: Roger Vivier: From Process to Perfection
Venue: The Bata Shoe Museum, Toronto
Client: The Bata Shoe Museum, Toronto
Post-production of images shot in RAW file format for use in the exhibition Roger Vivier: From Process to Perfection, and for use in the exhibition catalogue, and all marketing materials. Post-production included colour and exposure adjustments and conversion to other file formats such as JPG and TIFF, and the creation of new artwork.
Of particular note, eight shots were combined for the outstanding and elegant fold-out double page spread that appeared in the catalogue.
The catalogue received an Ontario Museum Association Award of Excellence.
The design of the Vivier catalogue is […] impressive and innovative. Of particular note is its deliberate and creative use of a high quality paper stock including the interleaved pages of vellum. The opulent cover and central section, which opens out to a full page spread, not only echo the luxurious feel of Vivier’s designs but also complement the sophisticated and understated design of the Vivier exhibition, with its pale grey set design, reminiscent of a Parisian couturier’s salon.
